Janet Mayer is an accomplished artist and cake designer.  In addition to designing cakes, she teaches the Wilton Method of Cake Decorating and painting classes utilizing Donna Dewberry's OneStroke Decorative Painting Method.  She loves all things creative, and in her caking, delights in creating three-dimensional designs.

Janet's favorite saying is "If you think you can't, you're right."

She is eternally grateful for the full support of her amazing husband, Rob, and their four children, Caitlin, Emily, Bryan and Jackson.  Janet lives with her family in Plano, TX.

She has been blessed with terrific friends that have helped shape her journey and to whom she owes a debt of gratitude - Marilyn, who keeps the contract open-ended and unconditional; Daisy, who helped her rediscover her passion for teaching; Kris, the best assistant ever; Michael, her engineering consultant, and last but certainly not least, Rhonda, her Wilton Cake Lady.
